Lindsay Lohan stars in The Real Housewives of Disney, a sketch from the March 3 episode of Saturday Night Live.
The 25-year-old actress hosted the evening’s episode and joined the ladies of SNL to spoof Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise.
Lindsay played Rapunzel, Kristen Wiig played a drunk Cinderella, Vanessa Bayer played Snow White, Nasim Pedrad played Jasmine, and Abby Elliott played Belle in the absolutely hilarious sketch.
Lindsay Lohan hosted “Saturday Night Live” on March 3, 2012 and she participated in a number of clips while on the show – including one called “The Real Housewives Of Disney”! Lindsay played the character Rapunzel, but all of the other Disney Princesses were there too! Watch below and let us know which character is your favorite in the skit.
Lindsay Lohan was back on SNL for her fifth time and the episode did not disappoint (at least for the most part). When she did her opening monologue, the SNL cast pretended that they all trusted the former bad girl, but their actions said otherwise. From an alarm going off when she stepped off of the stage to Kenan Thompson checking her pupils to Kristin Wiig patting her down. They even had John Hamm in the audience as a backup host in case Lohan proved unreliable.
I was seriously laughing so hard watching one of the first sketches of the night – “The Real Housewives of Disney“. It was absolutely hilarious and my favorite part of the episode. With Snow White, Cinderella, Jasmine, Rapunzel, and Belle, the ladies nailed it with their Real Housewives version of the Disney characters. Oh and the gay Prince Charming was amazing. “Rapunzel, Rapunzel… burn that dress.” LOL. This may likely end up being the funniest sketch of the season
The 2012 Psychic Awards was a pretty funny concept as well, with the winners already knowing who won moments before they were announced. The best part of the sketch was where instead of a montage of the people that died in the past year, it was a montage of the people that were going to die in the coming year… all of whom were sitting in the audience to learn the news. LOL.
The Scared Straight caused Kenan Thompson to lose it a bit as he fought so hard early on in the sketch not to laugh. Towards the end of the sketch though, it was Jason Sudeikis that caused the other guys to crack when he adjusted his wedgie in front of them.
Another sketch I enjoyed was with Kristen Wiig with Lindsay Lohan with the prank caller. While trying to show Lindsay around her house (she was going to Lindsay housesitting) her Wiig was “wigging out” over the phone calls and thought the person on the other end was going to kill her. Wiig was hysterical in this sketch. Sidenote: Lohan had red hair in this sketch and it looks so much better on her, wouldn’t you agree?
Overall, I can’t say that I would have loved the episode as much as I did if it hadn’t had The Real Housewives of Disney in it. There were a few sketches where Lohan was relying on her cue cards way too much which totally took me out of the scene. Overall, I was still sufficiently entertained
